CHARLESTON, S. http://www.jordan5uk.com/men-s-nike-kobe...555586-401.html .C. -- Josh Hart scored a career-high 30 points with six 3-pointers and No. 3 Villanova powered past Wake Forest 96-77 on Friday to reach the finals of the Charleston Classic.Hart, a preseason All-American, made five of his teams first six baskets to open a 16-8 lead and the Wildcats (4-0) kept going. Theyll face UCF or College of Charleston for the tournament title on Sunday night.Villanova used a combination of accurate shooting and solid defense to slow down Wake Forest (3-1), which had scored 103 points Thursday in defeating UTEP. While the Demon Deacons shot 50 percent, they rarely got their transition game in motion against the Wildcats. It was not all good for Hart, who was whistled for a technical foul late in the second half with his team ahead double digits when he got tied up and jawed with Wake Forests Bryant Crawford down low.Hart surpassed his previous top total of 27 points against Akron last season.No. 7 KANSAS 86, SIENA 65LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Frank Mason III scored 18 points to lead a late-game charge, Carlton Bragg added a career-high 15 points and 11 rebounds and Kansas beat pesky Siena.Devonte Graham added 13 points and nine assists, and Lagerald Vick scored 12 points off the bench, as the Jayhawks (2-1) extended their winning streak to 42 straight at Allen Fieldhouse. The Saints (1-2) never made it easy.Marquis Wright hit three straight 3-pointers midway through the second half, and the gritty senior guards three-point play got coach Jimmy Patsos team within 63-58 with about 7 1/2 minutes left.Vick answered with back-to-back baskets for the Jayhawks, kicking off the game-defining 16-2 run that would put the game away. Johnson came out of his seat and spread his arms wide and had an ear-to-ear smile when the left-handed Bridges followed up a miss free throw by driving through the lane and leaping to make a backboard-shaking, right-handed dunk.No. 14 GONZAGA 109, BRYANT 70SPOKANE, Wash. -- Przemek Karnowski scored 22 points and Johnathan Williams added 20 to help Gonzaga beat Bryant.Zach Collins added 18 points for Gonzaga (3-0), which is seeking a 19th consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.Nisre Zouzoua scored 22 points and Adam Grant had 17 for undersized Bryant (1-2), which lost to Gonzaga the only previous time the teams met, in 2013.Both teams are known as the Bulldogs.Gonzaga was coming off a 69-48 win over San Diego State on Monday that was the Aztecs largest margin of defeat in nine seasons, a span of 260 games. The Zags built an early lead and slowly extended it for most of the game. Bryant was undone by 23 turnovers.No. 18 SYRACUSE 71, MONMOUTH 50SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Andrew White scored 18 points, Taurean Thompson added 12 and Syracuse routed overmatched Monmouth. The Orange (3-0) led 37-29 at the half. Schenn scored the game-winning goal and added two assists to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday. BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Joe McDufee has seen just about everything since he started attending Indiana Hoosiers games in 1949.Hes celebrated five national championships and an undefeated season, coped with the firing of Bob Knight, witnessed the rise and fall of the program under Mike Davis and Kelvin Sampson, cheered for the resurgence of the Hoosiers under Tom Crean and will never forget the indelible image of that chair being flung across the floor.Yet when McDufee entered the newly renovated Assembly Hall for the first time in October, the 84-year-old Indianapolis resident was stunned. Its the same old place but its gotten a shine to it, doesnt it? he marveled. Really, really beautiful. The entryway out here just blows your mind. There may be no state in America that reveres basketball history more than Indiana. McDufee, like so many others around the Hoosier State, knew the 35-year-old arena needed a makeover long before an 8-foot metal plate broke away from the ceiling and fell into the seats just hours before Indiana and Iowa were scheduled to play in February 2014.What pragmatists noticed was that other schools were ditching their quaint, dark, sometimes historic arenas for bright, brand new palaces. They added more practice space, upgraded weight rooms and installed new amenities with hopes of attracting prized recruits and top dollars from donors who would embrace the improved fan experience.Assembly Hall, meanwhile, was widely viewed as a link to an Indiana history that should not be defaced or disturbed.Athletic director Fred Glass knew better. So when Cindy Simon Skjodt, an Indiana alum and the daughter of Mel Simon, the late Indiana Pacers co-owner, offered $40 million gift to give the arena a new look, Glass took it and began the quest of turning the hall into a basketball mecca for a whole new generation of Indiana fans.---Every Indiana community has a basketball story. The Big Tens career scoring leader, Calbert Cheaney, played high school basketball in Evansville. Purdues career scoring leader, Rick Mount, played prep ball in Lebanon, about 45 minutes southeast of campus. Before chasing college and pro championships, Oscar Robertson fought for playing time on a hard-clay court in Indianapolis known as the Lockefield Dustbowl. Larry Bird, of course, will always be known as the Hick from French Lick.Bill Garrett went from Shelbyville High School to Indiana, becoming the Big Tens first African-American to log regular minutes. Bobby Plump was the real-life star of the Milan Miracle, Damon Bailey of Bedford remains the boys high school career scoring leader and former Looggottee High School coach Jack Butcher won a state-record 806 games.Indiana has several unique venues. Athletic administrators often tap dance around history while trying to keep up with the Joneses.Butler athletic director Barry Collier faced that dilemma when he realized Hinkle Fieldhouse needed refurbishing. The former Bulldogs player and coach presided over a $36 million face lift on one of the oldest courts still used in Division I basketball. Hinkle hosted Indiana state basketball championship games from its opening in 1928 through 1971, served as a military barracks during World War II and was a movie set for Hoosiers. The project replaced wooden railings with Plexiglas, bench seats with seat backs, new scoreboards and a video board above midcourt that allowed fans to see replays. Administrators tried to leave the character of the building untouched.I dont think its lost anything at all, said 30-year-old Tyler Moore, who attended Colliers basketball camp at Butler. We talked about how much cleaner things like the bathrooms are now, and to be in the Big East and recruit the caliber of player yoou want, you need have a place like this. http://www.jordan5uk.com/authentic-30477...tal-orange.html. ormer Purdue athletic director Morgan Burke faced the same task in 2007 when blueprints were drawn for the first major project at Mackey Arena in 40 years. When it opened in December 1967, Purdue hosted one of its most famous alums, John Wooden, and his powerhouse UCLA team. Mount made his college debut that day against reigning national player of the year Lew Alcindor. During the next several decades, the Boilermakers embraced coaches such as Gene Keady and Matt Painter, watched future No. 1 draft picks Joe Barry Carroll and Glenn Robinson and celebrated a three-year Big Ten title run.Burke found a way to add more comfortable seats, a more appealing ticket office and better practice facilities. Since completing the $82 million project five years ago, attendance has increased and Purdue has reclaimed its perch in the Big Tens upper division. As far as the recruits, its all about the show, said Trent Johnson, who graduated from Purdue in 1988 and has had season tickets for 20 years. When they play AAU ball, they already are traveling to Las Vegas, Orlando and Atlanta. They want a certain wow factor. They are pampered. If you dont do it, you risk losing kids to other schools who have upgraded facilities. You need the players to continue to draw the crowds. Not everyone agrees.A half century ago, six Indianapolis men pooled their money together to found the ABAs Indiana Pacers. Their first home court was Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, where fans were so close to the floor that former Pacers star player Darnell Hillman said he could hear their heartbeats.Over the years, the Pacers moved to Market Square Arena and eventually to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, a spacious NBA facility full of suites and restaurants. Hillman waxes nostalgic when he thinks about the renovated coliseum, which reopened in 2014-15 as the new home court for IUPUI.I think we have to find a way to hold on to that, Hillman said. Thats where the history of basketball lives. This is basketball country. They love the game. Theyre into it from the moment they get to the arena.---At Indiana, the three-story entryway looks more like the entrance to a mansion than a basketball arena with its shiny escalators and elevators and all those open windows. Theres a presidential suite behind the student section, trophy cases on both sides of the lobby, even touch screen technology to learn more about Hoosiers history in all sports. On the north end, the feature attraction is the hanging midcourt section from the playing floor used at Assembly Hall from 1976-95. Look around and fans will find the scoreboard that hung above center court from 1983-2005 and the double-sided stanchions that were once a signature part of Indiana basketball.Inside, all the seats are crimson-and-cream and a new large videoboard can be seen from every corner of the court.I think its fantastic, said Dan Caldwell, a 37-year-old Bloomington resident. I love the mix of the new and the old and I think theyve kept that home-court advantage just with the way the crowd is right on top of the floor and everything. And theyve kind of brought it into the next century so to speak, so yeah, I love it.McDufee believes Indiana made the right call by making renovations to the building he calls home rather than tearing it down and starting over.If they could have built one that seated about 24,000 or 25,000 so all the people that could wanted to be in could be in, that would have been good, he said. But I dont know, theres a lot, a lot of history here and tradition and I love the place. Trinbago Knight Riders 165 for 5 (McCullum 49*, Akmal 30, Taylor 2-31) beat St Lucia Zouks 164 for 8 (Fletcher 41, Sammy 40, Beaton 3-23) by five wicketsScorecard and ball-by-ball detailsSt Lucia Zouks dreams of a maiden CPL title were ended by defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders, who turned out a clinical batting display in the eliminator at St Kitts to qualify for the second playoff while knocking Zouks out of the competition. White Air VaporMax 2018 .Ronsford Beaton and Brendon McCullum played starring roles as Knight Riders kept Zouks to 164, before chasing down the target with five wickets in hand and nine balls to spare.St Lucias innings started strongly and finished strongly, but lost momentum in the middle. After being put in to bat, openers Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher put on a breezy stand of 62 off 44. They had their share of luck along the way - not only did they benefit from three dropped chances, but Fletcher also survived a close shave in the second over when a Beaton yorker squeezed under his bat and hit the base of the stumps without dislodging the bails. Charles was the more attacking of the two, hitting three fours and two sixes in his 22-ball 31, but it was his dismissal in the eighth over that broke the momentum. It took Zouks 10.1 overs, and the loss of six wickets, to score their next 62. Wickets fell at regular intervals, with Beaton collecting figures of 3 for 23 including two in two in the 18th over. Fletcher, the only batsman to spend appreciable time in the middle during this phase, struggled to find the boundary and ran out of steam to finish with 41 off 43. At the fall of the seventh wicket, Zouks were languishing at 124, with just 15 balls left in the innings. However, captain Darren Sammy and Shane Shillingford provided the innings with a late fillip, smashing 40 runs in those last 15 balls, including two sixes each in that period. Knight Riders sloppy fielding cost them dearly, as Sammy and Shillingford were each dropped twice before embarking on their respective six-hitting rampages. Shillingfords two sixes came off the last two balls of the innings, propelling Zouks to 164 and leaving Knight Riders to contemplate a shoddy fielding performance that included seven drops in all. They seemed to have put that behind them by the time the run chase came around, though, with the top three getting the side off to a flying start. Though all three lost their wickets inside the Powerplay, they had helped Knight Riders on to 68 for 3 after six overs, with Umar Akmal scoring 30 off 15.Thereafter, McCullum - who had dropped two catches earlier in the day - steered the innings with an unbeaten 49 off 41. Knight Riders were in cruise control from about halfway through their chase, requiring little over a run a ball as McCullum controlled proceedings. Sunil Narine, coming in at No. 7, ensured that the match did not go into the last over; he hit consecutive sixes off Delorn Johnson* in the 19th and sealed the win with a single past point.Knight Riders now move on to the second playoff, a virtual semi-final, where they will play Jamaica Tallawahs for a berth in the final.*GMT 0730 August 5, 2016: The report had erroneously mentioned Mitchell Johnson. 23. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (15-4)

LAST SEASON: New England stumbled early Laquon Treadwell Jersey , losing twice in first four games. Patriots recovered and won 11 of final 12 behind MVP season of quarterback Tom Brady. He dazzled at age 40, throwing for 4,577 yards, 32 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He did so despite reported friction between himself, coach Bill Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft following midseason trade of backup Jimmy Garoppolo to San Francisco. But defensive inconsistency was Patriots' biggest issue throughout season and it caught up with them in Super Bowl loss to Philadelphia. It included mysterious benching of cornerback Malcolm Butler, who wound up leaving at start of free agency.

THEY NEED: OL, LB, CB Shaquill Griffin Jersey , DE, QB

THEY DON'T NEED: TE, RB, WR

POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: T Kolton Miller, UCLA; T Mike McGlinchey, Notre Dame; LB Rashaan Evans, Alabama; DE-LB Harold Landry, Boston College; CB Mike Hughes Tyus Bowser Jersey , UCF.

OUTLOOK: Roster will look different following free agency departures of Butler (Titans), LT Nate Solder (Giants), WR Danny Amendola (Dolphins), RB Dion Lewis (Titans) and trade of WR Brandin Cooks (Rams). They've addressed some holes already: New England traded for WR-KR Cordarrelle Patterson, CB Jason McCourty and DT Danny Shelton, while signing veteran DE Adrian Clayborn and RB Jeremy Hill. TE Rob Gronkowski has subtly hinted at retiring sooner rather than later, which could throw wrinkle into Patriots' long-term approach. But they have plenty to work with thanks to five selections in first 95 picks, including two in first round (23rd and 31st overall).

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady vies for best male athlete while Olympic skier Mikaela Shiffrin contends a second time for best female athlete among nominations for The ESPYS honoring the past year’s top sports achievements and moments.

Brady was also nominated in 2004 and 2008.

Shiffrin faces three first-time nominees for female athlete in Sylvia Fowles of the WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim and soccer player Julie Ertz.

Newly retired racecar driver Danica Patrick will be the first woman to host when the show airs July 18 from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Kevin Durant of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, who won last year, received a nod for best championship performance. He goes against Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, World Series MVP George Springer and Villanova’s Donte DiVincenzo, most outstanding player of the men’s Final Four.

Brady is also nominated for record-breaking performance Russell Bodine Jersey , along with tennis star Roger Federer, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge and Diana Taurasi of the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury.

Cleveland’s LeBron James earned his 14th consecutive nomination for best NBA player and will be going for his third straight trophy. He is up against Harden, Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis of the Pelicans.

The nominees for breakthrough athlete are Ben Simmons of the 76ers, Utah’s Donovan Mitchell, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara and tennis player Sloane Stephens.

Two years removed from being a first-round draft pick Reggie White Jersey , receiver Corey Coleman vows he's got plenty to prove with the Buffalo Bills after falling well short of expectations in Cleveland.

That's the message Coleman posted on his Instagram account along with a video of him showing off his new Bills No. 19 jersey. And it's something Coleman repeated following his first practice at Bills training camp Tuesday, two days after being acquired in a trade with the Browns.

"It feels good to be wanted," said Coleman, wearing a towel around his neck while a steady rain fell. "They have their trust in me. I really don't want to let them down."

The Bills are providing Coleman a fresh start after his two-year tenure in Cleveland was beset by injuries and dropped passes. As an indication of how far his stock has fallen, Buffalo gave up a 2020 seventh-round pick to acquire the 15th player selected in the 2016 draft.

"A lot of things don't work out the way you want it to work out," Coleman said.

"I've got much respect for my teammates, man, those guys in the locker room over there in Cleveland are top-notch guys. We have a great fan base in Cleveland, too," he added. "I'm going to leave it at that."

If only the Browns and their fans could do the same so easily.

Traded by first-year general manager John Dorsey, Coleman came to symbolize the overall dysfunction of the Browns' previous regime, which passed on drafting current Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz by trading down and selecting the Baylor receiver.

Injuries limited Coleman to playing 19 games, during which he caught 56 of the 131 passes thrown in his direction for 718 yards and five touchdowns. And he will forever be remembered in Cleveland for dropping a pass late in the fourth quarter in last season's finale at Pittsburgh that sealed the Browns' 0-16 finish.

"Right Alex Lewis Jersey , it's easy to point the finger and stuff," Coleman said. "Every week in the NFL you see receivers drop a ball, drop a pass. It matters how you respond. And that's a big thing."

The Bills took what GM Brandon Beane called "a low-risk" gamble in a bid to address a need at a position that lacks experienced and proven talent behind starter Kelvin Benjamin. Coleman also has the opportunity to provide the Bills' retooled offense an element of downfield speed to keep opposing defenses from crowding the line to stop the run.

"Look, speed is dangerous," coach Sean McDermott said. "It opens up the defense a little bit for other things. So that element is important."

As for expectations, McDermott wants to provide Coleman time to learn the playbook and become comfortable with his new teammates and surroundings.

"Can't wait to watch him really just blossom into the player we believe he can become," McDermott said.

Coleman practiced on a limited basis Tuesday, and it's unclear whether he'll play in Buffalo's preseason opener against Carolina on Thursday.

He appreciates the amount of catching up he has ahead.

"It's difficult, you know, but we've got great resources here," Coleman said. "I'm going to work my tail off to come here, do everything I need to do."

NOTES: McDermott wasn't prepared to announce who will start at quarterback against the Panthers. Offseason free-agent addition AJ McCarron and returning backup Nathan Peterman have split time with the starters for the first two weeks of training camp, while rookie first-round pick Josh Allen continues to mostly work with the third-string offense. ... LB Trent Murphy Andy Levitre Jersey , an offseason free-agent addition, isn't expected to play after missing the past week with a groin injury. McDermott expects Murphy to resume practicing next week.

Dmitry Orlov scoring on Sergei Bobrovsky is a popular clip at a bar in their hometown in southwestern Siberia.

”They always show my goal to him,” Orlov said. ”My friends said that.”

Orlov and Bobrovsky are good friends going back to their time growing up together and have played together on the Russian national team with Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Artemi Panarin. They’re split on opposite sides of a first-round series between Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Orlov’s Washington Capitals and Bobrovsky and Panarin’s Columbus Blue Jackets. Game 1 is Thursday night in Washington.

”They’re good players, obviously, and we need to work (against) them,” Orlov said. ”Panarin have good skill so we need to not give him a lot of space and Bob we need to put more shots, more traffic on him. If we win, it will be nice.”

Perhaps not since the Detroit Red Wings’ Russian Five has a Stanley Cup playoff series had so many prominent players from Russia, with all eyes on those them as potential X-factors. It starts with Bobrovsky, a two-time Vezina Trophy-winning goaltender who aims to rebound from starting his NHL playoff career 3-10 with a 3.63 goals-against average and .887 save percentage.

”He’s going to rise to the occasion,” Blue Jackets captain Nick Foligno said. ”He has every time he’s been challenged. If I had to pick anybody in the league to go into the playoffs with it would be him Evan Engram Jersey , and I think he’s pretty confident about the team in front of him.”

The team in front of Bobrovsky is led by Panarin, whose 82 points are 25 more than the second-closest Columbus player.

”The Blue Jackets have added a guy like Panarin, I think he’s a little bit of that difference make, just like we have some difference makers,” Washington coach Barry Trotz said. ”They can do some things that they maybe didn’t have in the past. He’s an exceptional player. We’ve got some exceptional players. Sometimes in those tight series, those exceptional players can be the difference.”

Ovechkin has made a difference all year, leading the NHL with 49 goals and scoring 19.1 percent of the Capitals’ total over the course of the 82-game regular season. Kuznetsov caught fire late, recording 11 goals and 17 assists in the final 18 games of the regular season.

”I would say he is mature, understands the game,” Ovechkin said of Kuznetsov. ”Everybody knew he would be a very good, solid player, a talent, and you can see how he plays right now.”

Some things to watch when Columbus and Washington meet in the playoffs for the first time:

GRUBAUER HOUR

Backup Philipp Grubauer got the nod to start Game 1 for the Capitals over 2016 Vezina winner and longtime No. 1 goaltender Braden Holtby. The 26-year-old German started a playoff game in place of Holtby in 2015 because of an illness Jason Spriggs Jersey , but he earned the starting job this time around by closing out the season 7-3-0 with a 2.32 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. Holtby went into a slump in February and March, opening the door for Grubauer to seize the opportunity. But Trotz only named Grubauer his starter for Game 1 and said he’ll take the decision game by game.

TORTORELLA TIME

Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella will face the Capitals in a playoff series for the sixth time after going 3-2 with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers. Tortorella has beaten – and lost to – Washington this time of year with less-talented teams than he has right now, particularly after the addition of winger Thomas Vanek and defenseman Ian Cole at the trade deadline made Columbus a high-scoring machine.

”I think we’re playing some of our best hockey, both as a group and certainly the individuals,” Tortorella said. ”I think with them and the additions at the deadline, I think our group feels really good about itself.”

ACTIVE D

Washington’s John Carlson led all NHL defenseman with 68 points in the regular season and yet still might not be the best on the blue line in this series. Columbus has Norris Trophy dark horse Seth Jones, who along with Zack Werenski give the Blue Jackets some serious offense.

SPECIAL TEAMS

One area the Capitals have a huge advantage is on the power play and penalty kill, where they’re ranked seventh and 15th in the league. The Blue Jackets are 15th on the power play and 26th on the penalty kill. Since the trade deadline, though, Columbus has scored on 25 percent of its power plays.

The Chicago Bulls like to think they are one of the NBA’s up-and-coming teams Cameron Erving Jersey , one that could challenge for a playoff berth next season.

They also admit there are many more boxes to check off first.

Led by forward Lauri Markkanen, the Bulls return a slew of young talent but the team lacks depth and key playmakers. Much will depend on Markkanen’s development along with that of swingman Zach LaVine, guards Kris Dunn, Cameron Payne and Denzel Valentine, and big men Cristiano Felicio and Bobby Portis. Like center Wendell Carter Jr. and forward Chandler Hutchison, the team’s first-round draft picks, all are 25 or younger.

Although the Bulls are nearly $40 million below the salary cap, executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson said a significant move was ”unlikely” this offseason. Free agency begins this weekend.

”We have loads of (salary) cap space,” Paxson said Monday, when Carter and Hutchison were introduced at a news conference. ”What we don’t have are many open roster spots. We could add one player Jamaal Williams Jersey , but we’re not going to risk making a mistake on a longterm deal. At this point, we don’t feel any urgency to do something big.”

At the top of the to-do list is the somewhat murky future of LaVine, a restricted free agent whose athletic talents are sure to generate interest. Sixteen months removed from left ACL surgery, he averaged 16.7 points and shot just 38 percent in 24 games last season.

”Obviously, we want Zach back,” Paxson said. ”But there’s a free-agent process that we’ll follow. The fact that so many teams have limited cap space is in our favor. Until then, we’ll consider Zach to be a big part of our plans.”

For the Bulls to become relevant next season – they’ve reached the conference finals just once since the Michael Jordan years – LaVine and Markkanen will have to fulfill their star potential. The plan calls for them to be more active in the offense, which ranked 30th and last in field-goal percentage (.435) and 26th in points (102.9) last season.

As a rookie, Markkanen averaged 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds.

”We’ll allow Markkanen to make plays a lot more next season,” coach Fred Hoiberg said. ”If he rebounds the ball Matt Bosher Jersey , we want the other guys running and let him bring the ball downcourt.”

Unable to trade up in the draft order last week, the Bulls made a safe pick in the 6-foot-10 Carter at No. 7 overall. The Duke product does his best work as a rebounder and rim protector but will require time to develop other parts of his game.

”I’m a very hard worker. I’m a winner also,” Carter said. ”I come in and do whatever I have to to help the team win. That will be an immediate impact.”

The 6-foot-7 Hutchison (22nd overall) possesses an intriguing mix of physical tools. At Boise State, he scored and drew fouls consistently. Both are areas of considerable need in Chicago.

While a lot has to go right for a team that finished 27-55 to make a quantum jump, the Bulls showed flashes when they won 10 of 12 games in December.

”That stretch last season is where the optimism comes from,” Holberg said. ”Since then, we’ve added two young, versatile players who fit for our roster very well. And Zach will have fewer restrictions. So there are a lot of reasons to be excited.”

— After four at-bats, DJ LeMahieu was still looking for his first hit and felt he hadn’t made good contact.

He was just saving his best swing for extra innings.

The Colorado Rockies struck for three runs with two outs in the ninth inning before LeMahieu homered over the center field wall in the 10th Saturday night in a 5-3 win over the Atlanta Braves.

LeMahieu’s drive off Luke Jackson cleared the 400-foot mark — the deepest part of the park.

“I hadn’t really hit the ball hard all night,” he said. “I was just trying to get on base.”

Carlos Gonzalez followed with a double and scored on Nolan Arenado’s single to complete a frustrating blown save for fill-in closer A.J. Minter.

Minter came in with a 3-0 lead to begin the ninth and retired the first two Colorado batters. But the Rockies followed with four straight hits Peyton Barber Jersey , including a two-run double by Ian Desmond and a tying single by pinch-hitter Gerardo Parra.

Minter has been Atlanta’s closer since Arodys Vizcaino went on the disabled list last month with shoulder trouble.

Braves trainer George Poulis visited Minter on the mound early in the ninth to examine a cut on Minter’s left thumb. Minter said a fingernail caused the cut on his second pitch.

“It had nothing to do with the outcome of the game,” Minter said, adding the blown save was “just pretty pathetic on my part. My job was to come in and get three outs, especially in a three-run game, and I didn’t get the job done.”

Braves manager Brian Snitker described Minter, a rookie, as “still a work in progress” while mastering the command of pitches.

“It hasn’t been great for a few outings, really,” Snitker said. “He has continued to make pitches and not give in and get through it.”

LeMahieu hit his 10th homer with one out in the 10th off Jackson (1-1).

The Braves stranded a runner at third base in the ninth when Adam Ottavino (5-2) struck out Dansby Swanson to end the inning. Wade Davis pitched the 10th for his 34th save.

The Rockies have won the first three games of the four-game series to stay close to NL West-leading Arizona.

The NL East-leading Braves remained one-half game ahead of second-place Philadelphia.

Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz gave up four hits in seven innings and struck out nine.

Nick Markakis drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single off Antonio Senzatela with two outs in the third inning. Ronald Acuna Jr. had three hits and a walk, scored twice and stole a base. Acuna singled Travis Benjamin Jersey , stole second and scored on Freddie Freeman’s single off Bryan Shaw in the eighth.

TRAINER’S ROOM

Rockies: INF Pat Valaika was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque to clear a roster spot for Senzatela, who had been on the 10-day disabled list since Aug. 5 with right shoulder inflammation.

Braves: Snitker said LHP Max Fried (left groin strain) will make another rehab start before he’s able to return to Atlanta. He allowed three earned runs in 4 1/3 innings for Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.

LEADOFF MAGIC

Acuna extended his Atlanta franchise-record streak to reaching safely in nine consecutive plate appearances leading off a game when he singled in the first inning. He has four homers, three singles, one walk and a hit by pitch when leading off games over that span.

RECORD CROWD

There was occasional light rain but no delay following an afternoon of sometimes heavy downpours. Despite the threatening weather, the sellout of 42,143 set a SunTrust Park record.

UP NEXT

Rockies: RHP German Marquez (10-9, 4.51) is coming off a win over Justin Verlander and the Astros in Houston on Tuesday. He is 5-1 with a 2.91 ERA since June 30 and is 3-0 with a 2.73 ERA in his last five road starts.

Braves: RHP Anibal Sanchez (6-3, 3.07) will try to extend his perfect career record against the Rockies. Sanchez is 4-0 with a 1.99 ERA in six career starts against Colorado.

Ryan Fitzpatrick backpedaled giddily for about 20 yards as he watched DeSean Jackson come down with a 36-yard touchdown pass over the middle. The journeyman quarterback then turned toward the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sideline and triumphantly thrust his arm in an upward arc.

Time will tell if the Bucs are on a similar trajectory this season Ronde Barber Jersey , but there's no denying they're off to an encouraging start.

Fitzpatrick highlighted a 417-yard, four-touchdown performance with two scoring strikes of more than 50 yards, and the Buccaneers stunned the Saints 48-40 on Sunday.

"I'm happy to announce: FitzMagic is alive and well," Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter said of his 35-year-old reserve quarterback, who was starting for suspended 2015 first-overall draft choice Jameis Winston. "Quite a start, huh?"

Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 28 passes without an interception and also ran for a short touchdown, bowling over free safety Marcus Williams on his way into the end zone.

"I hope somebody had him in fantasy because he went crazy today," Bucs receiver Mike Evans said of Fitzpatrick. "And he was running the ball 鈥?phenomenal game. One of the most complete games I've seen."

Coming off a playoff appearance and hosting a team that won only five games last season, the Saints were among the more heavily favored teams in Week 1. But some of the Saints' defensive players who were instrumental in New Orleans' success a season earlier had a miserable start to 2018.

Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore Jason Sanders Jersey , the 2017 defensive rookie of the year, had trouble covering Evans, who caught seven passes for 147 yards, including a 50-yard touchdown that put the Bucs up 41-24 late in the third quarter.

"It isn't going to get me down. Everybody gets beat," Lattimore said. "We needed to get slapped in our face one good time to see we're not on a level we think we're on."

A season ago, Evans was so frustrated with coverage by Lattimore that he hit him after the whistle and wound up being suspended a game for it. After this latest meeting, Evans said, "I like my odds against anybody, not just him."

Jackson caught scoring passes of 58 and 36 yards to highlight his five-catch Duke Riley Jersey , 146-yard day before leaving with a concussion.

Fitzpatrick also threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Chris Godwin.

"The talent level in that huddle, with guys that can go up and make plays, it's a pretty special group," Fitzpatrick said. "I'm glad we showed it today, but now it's about consistency."

COMEBACK BID

The Saints put together a frantic offensive flurry in the fourth quarter, scoring twice on touchdowns by Alvin Kamara 鈥?the first a 1-yard run and the second a 7-yard catch, both followed by 2-point conversions. That cut the Saints' deficit to eight points with 3:31 to go.

On third-and-11, Fitzpatrick needed to make one more play 鈥?and did. He scrambled to his left for 12 yards at the two-minute warning. With New Orleans out of timeouts, Fitzpatrick was able to run out the clock.

"That's the type of game we've played in year's past as a .500 team Laquon Treadwell Jersey ," Saints coach Sean Payton said, alluding to three straight 7-9 seasons from 2014-16 before the Saints returned to the playoffs with 11 wins in 2017. "Nothing carries over from last year. I've said it a millions times."

STATS AND TRENDS

The combined 88 points set an NFL record for a regular-season opener, narrowly eclipsing Philadelphia's 45-42 victory over Washington in September of 1947.

New Orleans' Drew Brees was 37 of 45 for 439 yards and three TDs. Kamara, the 2017 offensive rookie of the year, caught nine passes for 112 yards and one touchdown to go with two touchdown runs. Receiver Michael Thomas set a single-game franchise record by catching 16 passes for 180 yards and a TD, but turned the ball over on a fumble across midfield in the third quarter.

Tampa Bay scored on six of its first seven possessions. The only Bucs drive of the first half that did not produce points was when they ran out the final 55 seconds before halftime. Tampa Bay did not punt until their eighth drive about halfway through the third quarter. The Bucs finished with eight passing plays of 20 or more yards.

The Saints punted only once in the first half and trailed 31-24 at halftime after Thomas' 6-yard touchdown catch.

FUMBLED OPPORTUNITY

With Mark Ingram serving a four-game suspension for use of a banned substance, the Saints brought in running back Mike Gillislee after he was cut by New England. In his Saints debut, Gillislee fumbled in the second quarter on a hit by Vernon Hargreaves. Cornerback Justin Evans scooped up the loose ball and ran it back for a 34-yard TD.

Buccaneers: Hargreaves was helped to the locker room with a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter.

The Seahawks’ mandatory minicamp is over and training camp doesn’t start until late July Marshawn Lynch Jersey , and coach Pete Carroll is hoping his players are staying focused on football during their time away.

鈥淚鈥檓 concerned about the six weeks coming up, that the guys do a really good job taking care of themselves, coming back stronger and faster,鈥?Carroll said. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e in good shape right now, we would be ready to go into camp and we鈥檇 be in good shape.鈥?/p>

Some players like to give their bodies some rest during the time off, but Carroll said they should be pushing themselves to be in top shape when camp opens.

鈥淭hey don鈥檛 need a vacation right now; they need a little break from the push we鈥檝e been in right here Kenny Stills Jersey , but like our guys shared with our other guys, a few days and let鈥檚 get back at it,鈥?Carroll said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 too important that we stay on task. They鈥檝e worked so hard to get where they are, you don鈥檛 want to have to go back down conditioning-wise then work it back up. They鈥檝e just invested too much at this point.鈥?/p>

Plenty of coaches have suggested this offseason that they wish they had more control over their players in the offseason. But Carroll will just have to accept that the players are on their own until training camp opens.

The Cowboys are one of only a handful of teams not to have a player protest during the national anthem, and owner Jerry Jones recently reiterated his stance on the issue.

It sounds as if Cowboys players will continue to abide by Jones’ wishes and stand for the anthem as no one in the team’s locker room Wednesday appeared upset at the NFL’s new anthem policy.

鈥淚’m pretty sure we all know kind of what Jerry said, his statement last year. I don’t see that changing Bruce Irvin Jersey ,” quarterback Dak Prescott said. “. . . I鈥檓 glad they came to an agreement. I鈥檒l be out there standing.”

Even the Cowboys’ new players are ready to stand for the anthem.

“I’m the type of person that I respect the people that’s over there fighting for us,” new receiver Tavon Austin said. “Whoever want to sit down, that’s on them. Whoever want to stand up, same to them, too. I’m the type of person that I believe in what I believe in, and I stand on it.”

The NFL’s new policy calls for all league and team personnel on the field to stand during the playing of the anthem while eliminating the requirement that all league and team personnel be on the field for the playing of the song. It also calls for the league to discipline teams whose personnel do not comply with the policy and allows teams to set their own 鈥渨ork rules鈥?regarding players who do not stand during the playing of the song.

“I feel like I’m not an owner . . . yet Mark Andrews Jersey ,” defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence said, “so I can’t make none of those rules. I’ve just got to abide by them. It’s still a business at the end of the day, so it is what it is.”

While Ezekiel Elliott said “it’s guys’ opinion to do whatever they want to do,” team captain Sean Lee was adamant that the issue won’t divide the locker room.

“I think it’s a passionate issue, and I think it’s going to take time,” Lee said. “This is something that’s not just going to change. I think this is something that over time Eli Manning Jersey , you have to continue to work to respect each other’s views, and it’s not going to be easy. Hopefully something will come where we all work to move forward and agree with each other.

“But . . . we’ve had conversations in the past about respecting each other’s beliefs. We know we’re teammates. This is a brotherhood here and we’re working toward a common goal, and at times, people have different views. The No. 1 thing we talked about is making sure we support each other; that we stay together; we stay unified; and we support each other. I think that’s what we’ll do going forward.”

Los Angeles Chargers defensive lineman Corey Liuget will be suspended without pay for the first four games of the upcoming season for a violation of the NFL’s doping policy.

The Chargers announced the suspension Friday.

Liuget says he takes ”full responsibility” for the violation. During his offseason training program Dont'a Hightower Jersey , the veteran lineman says he ”placed my trust in someone who, in hindsight, was not well-versed in the NFL’s policy on banned substances.”

Chargers general manager Tom Telesco says Liuget’s mistake was unintentional, but disappointing.

Liuget has been a fixture on the Chargers’ defensive line since 2011. He started 12 games last season, getting 21 tackles and 1 sacks.

Liuget signed a five-year, $58.5 million extension with the Chargers in 2015.

Igor Sijsling knocked out fourth-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 and will play Jan Hajek. The Czech routed Daniel Brands 6-1, 6-0. Alabama Crimson Tide (11-0)Trending:Week 11 ranking: 1 Week 12 result:?Defeated Chattanooga 31-3Somehow, it seems that Alabamas uninspiring performance came at exactly the right time, though coach Nick Saban offered a different analysis of the Crimson Tides 22nd consecutive victory. The coach was frustrated, and rightfully so, after Alabama trailed 3-0 after one quarter and led just 14-3 at halftime. The Tide, who finished with just 332 yards, now turn their focus to rival Auburn and then an SEC title game rematch with Florida.2.?Ohio State Buckeyes?(10-1)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?2 Week 12 result:?Defeated Michigan State 17-16Ohio State escaped East Lansing with a win over 3-8 Michigan State, which nearly derailed the Buckeyes national-title bid for the third time in four seasons. The Buckeyes intercepted a two-point conversion attempt with 4:41 to play before Gareon Conley sealed the win with another pick of Tyler OConnor in the final two minutes. Its survive-and-advance time. Michigan awaits as Ohio State returns home.3. Clemson Tigers?(10-1)Trending:?Week 11 ranking: 4 Week 12 result:?Defeated Wake Forest 35-13Clemson clinched the ACC Atlantic behind Deshaun Watson, who threw for 202 yards and rushed for two touchdowns. Running back Wayne Gallman added 161 yards and two scores. It was a workmanlike performance for the Tigers in rebounding from a loss to Pitt to stay in good shape for the College Football Playoff. South Carolina and the undetermined Coastal champ remain as Clemsons final obstacles.4.?Michigan Wolverines?(10-1)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?5 Week 12 result:?Defeated Indiana 20-10Michigan avoided its first home loss to Indiana in 49 years by overcoming a third-quarter deficit behind a career-best 158 rushing yards from DeVeon Smith. A week after their first loss of the year at Iowa, the Wolverines sputtered offensively behind John OKorn, who was filling in at quarterback for the injured Wilton Speight. Michigan controls its fate in the conference and CFP race as it heads to Ohio State with a shot to win the Big Ten East.5. Washington Huskies?(10-1)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?6 Week 12 result:?Defeated Arizona State 44-18Washington shook off the effects of its loss to USC to roll past the Sun Devils on Senior Day and reach 10 wins for the first time since 2000. Arizona State gained just 84 yards in the first three quarters against the Huskies stout defense, and quarterback?Jake Browning threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns. That sets the stage for a hugely significant Apple Cup on Friday at Washington State, with the winner to play in the Pac-12 title game as champion of the North.6.?Wisconsin Badgers?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?7 Week 12 result:?Defeated Purdue 49-20This week was business as usual for the Badgers, who started slowly on the road but scored 35 points in the final nine minutes of the first half to squash Purdue. Wisconsin has won five straight games since consecutive October losses to Michigan and Ohio State and needs a home win over Minnesota to clinch the Big Ten West. There are bigger things on the horizon, perhaps, for the Badgers, who hope they can secure a playoff bid if they win the league title.7.?Oklahoma Sooners?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?9 Week 12 ?result:?Defeated West Virginia 56-28Depending on your perspective of Oklahomas win Saturday, it was not as close as the score indicated -- or it was much closer. The Sooners led 28-0 less than five minutes into the second quarter but were outgained and benefited from WVU mistakes that prevented the Mountaineers from cutting the lead considerably before their second-half surge. Regardless, Oklahoma needs to beat Oklahoma State in two weeks to finish a perfect Big 12 season and state its case to the playoff committee.8.?Penn State Nittany Lions?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?8 Week 12 result:?Defeated Rutgers 39-0Penn State pulled away in the second half, though Rutgers never really stood a chance. The Nittany Lions allowed five first downs and 87 total yards, while?Saquon Barkley led a 339-yard rushing effort. Penn State reached nine wins for the first time since 2011. To get to the Big Ten title game -- a difficult to fathom outcome one month ago -- the Nittany Lions need a win this week over Michigan State and an Ohio State victory over Michigan.9.?Colorado Buffaloes?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?10 Week 12 result:?Defeated Washington State 38-24?Colorado needs a home victory over Utah on Saturday to win the Pac-12 South. In the Buffaloes win over WSU,?Sefo Liufau?joined Steven Montez as the only Colorado quarterbacks to throw for 300 yards and rush for 100 in a game. Montez did so in September against Oregon. Yes, it has been that kind of season for the Buffaloes, who most recently won nine games in 2002.10.?USC Trojans?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?12 Week 12 result:?Defeated UCLA 36-14Make it seven wins in a row for USC, matched nationally by only Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State and Western Michigan. The Trojans again got big games from QB Sam Darnold and receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to roll past their slumping rival. Heres another team no one wants to play, perhaps including the Pac-12 North winner. USC faces Notre Dame next week and will win the South if Utah beats Colorado.11.?Oklahoma State Cowboys?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?14 Week 12 result:?Defeated TCU 31-6Who wants to play Oklahoma State after it turned a 2-2 start into a path to the Big 12 title with one more victory? As fortune dictates, the Cowboys will have a shot to earn that victory against rival Oklahoma on Dec. 3. OSU rushed for 334 yards against TCU as Justice Hill and Chris Carson combined for 300 yards in handing the Horned Frogs their worst home loss since 1997.12.?Louisville Cardinals?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?3 Week 12 result:?Lost to Houston 36-20Louisville fell flat on Thursday to start its two-week journey outside the ACC. The Cardinals lost everything: their shot at the ACC title (as Clemson beat Wake Forest on Saturday), their shot at the College Football Playoff, obviously, and quarterback Lamar Jacksons bid to run away with the Heisman Trophy. Jackson, who was sacked 11 times by Houston, could use a big finish Saturday against Kentucky to impress tthe voters. Cheap Air Jordan 6. 13.?Florida State Seminoles?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?18 Week 12 result:?Defeated Syracuse 45-14?Since an early blowout loss to Louisville, Florida State has dipped under the national radar. Although it has lost twice since then, check the numbers: FSU fell by just two points to North Carolina and by just three to Clemson. The Seminoles win Saturday over Syracuse, despite four FSU turnovers, featured 654 yards of offense, including 225 on the ground from Dalvin Cook, who?broke Warrick Dunns career rushing record at FSU.14.?Western Michigan Broncos?(11-0)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?15 Week 12 result:?Defeated Buffalo 38-0Only Alabama can equal Western Michigans 11 victories, but the Broncos havent won the MAC West. Theyll need a victory over Toledo on Friday at home to finish the job, a necessity in their drive to qualify for a New Years Six bowl game. Western Michigan took care of business against Buffalo with a 626-yard offensive output.15.?Auburn Tigers?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking: 20 Week 12 result:?Defeated Alabama A&M 55-0Auburn improved to 22-0 all-time against FCS competition and held an eighth straight opponent without a rushing touchdown in limiting Alabama A&M to 130 yards in this tune-up for the Iron Bowl. The Tigers rushed for 451 yards and accumulated 598 overall in their seventh win in eight games after a 1-2 start.16.?Florida Gators?(8-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?23 Week 12 ?result:?Defeated LSU 16-10Talk about a close call. The Gators forged a ferocious goal-line stand in the closing seconds to escape Baton Rouge with a win in a game rescheduled from Week 6 and relocated from Gainesville because of Hurricane Matthew. Florida managed just 270 yards, and quarterback Austin Appleby was inconsistent, but he hit Tyrie Cleveland for a 98-yard, go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter. Eddy Pineiro nailed all three of his field goal attempts. A visit to Florida State is on Saturday before the SEC title game against No. 1 Alabama.17.?Nebraska Cornhuskers?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?19 Week 12 result:?Defeated Maryland 28-7Without quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. on Senior Day, Nebraska turned to?Ryker Fyfe, a former walk-on who delivered big, with 220 passing yards in his second career start. The Cornhuskers held Maryland to 207 yards, including just 11 on the ground, and Nebraska reached the nine-win plateau for the eighth time in nine seasons. The Huskers visit Iowa on Friday in need of a win and a Wisconsin loss Saturday against Minnesota to win the Big Ten West.18.?West Virginia Mountaineers?(8-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?11 Week 12 result:?Lost to Oklahoma 56-28That does it for West Virginias playoff chances and Big 12 title hopes. The Mountaineers managed to lose big while gaining 579 yards. They got 331 rushing yards from?Justin Crawford but little consistency elsewhere and could not overcome a slow start. Primarily, West Virginia was doomed by four turnovers, including fumbles inside the Oklahoma 5-yard line by Crawford and quarterback?Skyler Howard.?Now its on to Iowa State, which suddenly looks dangerous.19.?Boise State Broncos?(10-1)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?22 Week 12 result:?Defeated UNLV 42-25Boise State remains in contention for a New Years Six bowl, but the window is closing. To play for the Mountain West title, Boise State needs a win at Air Force on Friday and a Wyoming loss at New Mexico. The Cowboys nearly obliged Saturday by sneaking by San Diego State by one point after Boise State ran past UNLV on Friday behind 206 rushing yards and four touchdowns from Jeremy McNichols.20.?Houston Cougars?(9-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?NR Week 12 result:?Defeated Louisville 36-10Welcome back to the rankings, Houston, which has been missing since a Week 8 loss to SMU. The Cougars have responded with three straight wins, capped by their resounding upset of Louisville on Thursday, in which they relentlessly hounded Heisman front-runner Lamar Jackson and forced three turnovers. Even so, Navys win Saturday over East Carolina eliminated Houston in the American West race. Houston finishes with Memphis as all eyes turn to coach Tom Herman and his expected Power 5 suitors.21.?Utah Utes?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?13 Week 12 result:?Lost to Oregon 30-28Utah lost on Justin Herberts 17-yard pass to Darren Carrington II with two seconds to play, a huge disappointment. Combined with Colorados win, the loss eliminated the Utes from Pac-12 title contention. The Ducks went 75 yards on the final drive to finish with 575 against Utah, the most gained this year against the Utes, who close against the Buffs this week.22.?Navy Midshipmen?(8-2)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?NR Week 12 result:?Defeated East Carolina 66-31Navy won the American West, a monumental and unprecedented accomplishment for the Midshipmen, by smothering East Carolina on the Pirates Senior Day. Navys triple-option attack produced nine touchdowns and 483 yards on the ground. The work never stops for Navy, though. It visits SMU on Saturday, followed by the Dec. 3 American title game, the Army-Navy game a week later and, of course, bowl season.23.?Washington State Cougars?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?17 Week 12 result:?Lost to Colorado 38-24Washington States eight-game win streak came to an end as it struggled defensively against Colorado and allowed 603 yards. Luke Falk threw for 325 yards and three scores, but the Cougars defense forced just two punts. Still, they remain in control of their Pac-12 destiny, needing a win Friday over Washington to clinch the North.T-24.?Tennessee Volunteers?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking: NR Week 12 result:?Defeated Missouri 63-37Despite allowing a second straight opponent to top 400 rushing yards, Tennessee won behind the wizardry of Joshua Dobbs in his final home game. He threw for 223 yards and rushed for 190 on 10 carries, accounting for five touchdowns. The Vols, who finish the regular season Saturday at Vanderbilt, can still reach 10 wins for the first time since 2007 -- astonishing after a three-game October skid and endless craziness this fall.T-24.?Stanford Cardinal?(8-3)Trending:?Week 11 ranking:?25 Week 12 result:?Defeated Cal 45-31Remember Christian McCaffrey? The 2015 Heisman runner-up is healthy again. He rushed for 284 yards and broke his own school record as Stanford went on the road to win the Big Game for the seventh straight season. The Cardinal have won four straight since their midseason struggles and finish the regular season Saturday against Rice with a chance to reach a double-digit win total for the sixth time in seven seasons.Out of the rankings: LSU, Texas A&M, Virginia TechOthers receiving votes: Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, LSU, Minnesota, South Florida, Pitt White NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale Stitched Jerseys Jerseys Wholesale Cheap NFL Jerseys Outlet Black China NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys 2020 NFL Jerseys Outlet Youth NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Jerseys From China Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys Youth NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys NFL Cheap ' ' '

Leicesters fairytale year continued after it was ranked as the UKs Greatest Sporting City for 2016, according to research from ESPN and the University of Bath. Air Max 95 Cheap .Propelled by a historic Premier League title for Leicester City FC, the city beat the likes of London and Manchester to the award after it scored highly in the most of the 12 factors fans were asked to identify as key to a great sporting city. The city climbed 17 places from 18th last year and earned a maximum score in five factors -- success, matchday atmosphere, local talent, community and social.Leicester City captain Wes Morgan said: Its hard to explain exactly what impact last season had on this city but just by walking around the streets you can see theres blue in almost every shop window, which just goes to show the support the people of Leicester have given to us.To see 250,000 people turn out for our Premier League trophy parade was a moment I and every person there will never forget and I know the pride the people of Leicester showed at our title win extends across the citys rugby, cricket and basketball teams too. Here at the football club, I know there are lads who regularly attend Tigers games and we often see players from the Foxes and Riders at King Power Stadium, which shows what a brilliant sporting city this is.Im involved in a tattoo shop in the city centre and since we won the league Id say around 70 per cent of the tattoos we do are LCFC-themed. That underlines just how much the people of Leicester love sport and their teams, so its great to see the city recognised for that.Leicester is followed in the rankings by 2015s top two -- Manchester dropping from first to second and London from second to third. Liverpool in fourth and Leeds in fifth rounds out the top five.At the other end of the table, Blackpool ranked bottom for the second year in a row, behind York in 48th, Luton in 47th and Bournemouth in 46th. Full results for the research, conducted in collaboration with the University Bath, are available here.Leicesters City mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: Leicester Citys success last season has given the whole city a huge boost, and that positivity is clearly reflected in this research. Were obviously enormously proud of our football club, but Leicester is also home to one of Englands most successful rugby clubs, the countrys oldest basketball club, an ambitious cricket club, and a very successful womens hockey club.I think its fair to say that, when it comes to sport, Leicester -- a city of just 330,000 people -- enjoys punching above its weight. Being recognised as the best place in the country to be a fan is a huge accolade, so I am delighted that ESPNs research has confirmed Leicester as the UKs Greatest Sporting City. This year, ESPN also divided the research into individual sports to reveal the best places to be a fan of football, cricket, rugby union and rugby league. On the back of Leicester Citys historic title-winning season, Leicester received the accolade of the best city to be a football fan. Leeds ranked as the best city for both cricket and rugby league fans, while Cardiff is the top town for rugby union lovers.Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: This has always been a sporting city, with great local support for all of our teams and sportspeople, and it is good to see that status earning recognition from a wider audience. Our neighbours at Leicester City have obviously enjoyed a memorable year and all of the citys sports have been extremely proud of each others achievements in representing this part of the country in major competitions in the UK and further afield. At Tigers, we have enjoyed consistent success over very many years backed by a very committed and loyal support. It is always our ambition to be at the forefront of our sport while also recognising and cheering the successes for our teams and sportspeople across the county.Wasim Khan, CEO, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, added: The recent successes of Leicester City FC, coupled with the significant progress made by Leicester Tigers and the Cricket Club, further illustrates the heritage and pedigree of sport in the city. The sporting family in Leicester has some of the most passionate and loyal collective fans in the country and this recognition is for them as much as the clubs themselves. As part of the research, ESPN asked fans to rank 12 factors that help make up a great sporting city, in order to provide weightings for each citys results. This year, fans ranked Value for Money as the most important factor, as it received 19% of the vote. A citys Matchday Atmosphere was ranked by 17% of fans as the most important, while Club Success for a citys professional teams received 15% of the votes.Commenting on the research, Professor Thomas Curran, University of Bath, said: It is not easy to earn the accolade of ESPNs Greatest Sporting City, so the city of Leicester deserves all the congratulations it receives. To rank highly, a city must perform well in a variety of key factors which rely on a combination of fan opinion and third party data. To score top marks in five factors is a great achievement.Steven Saunders, Senior Editor of ESPN.co.uk, said: Leicester topping the rankings as ESPNs Greatest Sporting City 2016 is another amazing achievement for the city, especially considering the traditional sporting powerhouses such as London and Manchester that it has beaten to the top spot. Three came down to the fourth quarter while quarterbacks continued to shine in all four games; so important to the overall quality of the game. ATHENS, Greece -- Europes female representative on FIFAs ruling council is determined to narrow the financial disparities between the mens and womens game, and she also wants to eradicate a stupid cliche about women in the sport.Evelina Christillin, a veteran Italian sports executive who worked on Turins 2006 Olympic bid before being a top official on the Winter Games, was elected unopposed on Wednesday by the UEFA Congress. She takes up one of six new guaranteed FIFA leadership roles for women in a drive for greater gender equality in the male-dominated sport.I think female football is a wonderful sport, Christillin said after the congress of European soccers governing body. They are wonderful athletes and so they have to be respected and possibly paid not as much as men but at least recognized, honored and praised. While FIFA gave out $576 million in prize money at the last mens World Cup in 2014, including $35 million for champion Germany, the global governing body awarded only $15 million at last years Womens World Cup, with $2 million going to the champion United States. We have to work to improve and to boost these conditions both financially and sporting (for women), Christillin said. The same prize (money) would be difficult at the very beginning but little by little I think that this can be.Asked about changing womens football, Christillin said: Its very important because I hate this stupid cliche about women looking like false men playing football.Christillin will arrive at her first FIFA Council meeting next month as an outsider, saying it will be her first visit to Zurich where the organization is based. You dont have to scream or beat your hands on the table to make yourself heard and understood, sshe said. Air Max 95 Cheap Mens. If you show yourself capable and lets say, not with authority, but with capability and sometimes with a smile (it) is not difficult. The largesse around FIFA sits uncomfortably with Christillin.I think many things have to be changed in terms of a moral way of living, less money for the executives, more money for building facilities and restructuring the ones deserving it, she said. It has to be a little rebranded and reshaped the world of football without corruption, without money wasted, without privileges. That includes the $300,000 paid annually to FIFA Council members for the part-time role. There is no reason why earning such an amount of money for doing a representative job, Christillin said. We should be honored by having the responsibility and the task of representing sport. At the UEFA Congress, Christillin held talks with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, whose leadership style and decision-making has faced criticism in his first seven months in power.I know he had a lot of difficulties in the beginning, Christillin said. Its very difficult to change because the resistance of the predecessor is very hard to fight ... (Infantino) had problems with the press, the old guard. He is trying to diminish very much what Blatter did and the previous administration was earning or getting ... he is very convinced that so many privileges in terms of financial (costs) -- super hotels, super first-class trips and so on have to be canceled. Enigma6 has tasted both the sweetness of victory and the bitter taste of defeat this season, but they seem to be catching fire at just the right time. Wholesale Nike Baseball Jerseys . They recently handed reigning Halo world champions Counter Logic Gaming their first loss since the X Games Invitational last season, and we had a chance to chat with them about the current season and their big win.Thank you for taking the time to chat with us! Tell me a little bit about Enigma6. How did you come together as a team, and how did you join the Enigma6 organization?Carlos Cratos Ayala: Two days after [Halo World Championship 2016], I left my old team after getting second place. I wanted to team with Ryan Shooter Sondhi and I really wanted to snag Jesse bubu dubu Moeller. I knew that Cuyler Huke Garland was going to be left without a team, so I reached out to him and that is how the team came to be.Jesse bubu dubu Moeller: Huke played for Enigma6 in Call of Duty for a short period of time before he was told he could not compete due to his age, so he had a contact within the organization. We reached out to [Enigma6] about playing for them and they loved the idea.Nick, youve been coaching Enigma6 for the season. How did you get involved with these guys?Nick Showtime Laskaras: Ive known Cratos and Shooter for many years because I used to team with them for the previous Halo games. Then I quit for a while due to personal responsibilities. I was really good friends with Cratos and they needed a coach, so he reached out to me after PAX East when they didnt do so well and asked me to coach. It was an incredible opportunity so I took it.Cratos, bubu dubu, what has Showtime brought to the table as a coach that you did not have beforehand?Cratos: Consistency. We never really had a coach, especially one who put in the time like this. Its good to have one of your best friends behind you, either lightening up the mood because it gets pretty serious sometimes, or controlling our emotions.bubu dubu: He keeps our mentality in line while in a series, especially after a loss, and is a master at timing weapons and powerups.I know the three of you moved into the house together shortly before the season began. How beneficial has it been to be in the same house during practices and then during your HCS: Pro League matches?bubu dubu: Being able to play from the same house has been huge for my focus. I used to share a room with my two brothers, which could prove to be a bit distracting at times. It wasnt a huge deal; theyre my brothers, I understand. Its just nice to be able to focus on the game and getting better as a team.Enigma6 is currently sitting at 5-3, and has had some pretty significant ups and downs along the way. What has this season been like for you personally?Cratos: It has definitely had its share of ups and downs. For me, personally, coming in last place at the PAX East Invitational was the lowest of the low for my career. Our performance that weekend was honestly just embarrassing. Then, in our next tournament, we came out and were clearly the best team playing. Getting swept by Team Allegiance was another hard blow for me and it set [us] back a lot. Had we not been swept we would be in a much better spot in the standings. Things have settled down since then, though, and we are playing really good Halo. I feel like we are the best team in the world right now. What has caused you to get into a rhythm? What has been the difference-maker?bubu dubu: Communication has been a huge part of that. We noticed that when we are losing nobody is listening to each other. Nobody is responding to one another. We just needed to clean that up.Cratos: Yeah, we noticed that when we are losing we just try to talk over each other, and it wasnt working. The past couple of weeks we fixed the problem and we are playing dominant Halo now.Showtime, communication is a pivotal aspect of what you bring to the team as a coach. How have you seen this play out throughout the season?Showtime: Small talk and communication in general are so huge when it comes to competitive Halo. Furthermore, whether they like to admit it or not, attitudes are such a huge aspect of this team. They can get down when they lose a game or two and when their attitudes are bad then they have no chance of winning. I just really try to keep them positive; when we can stay positive and keep our communication up, we are the best in the game and that shows. I just try to remind these guys to just have fun with it.I want to ask you guys about the most recent two weeks of the season. In Week 3, you were swept by CLG and Team Liquid took you to Game 5. How did you feel at the end of that week?Cratos: That CLG series was probably the most frustrating series. We came out hot; we were destroying them Game 1. Then they had the connection issues that completely changed the series. We were two minutes away from beating them in Game 1 and that disconnection changed everything. We tried telling ourselves that we werent going to let it affect us, but it totally did. They had a chance to talk about how they wanted to readjust, and that put things back in their favor. We lost Game 1 and that completely stopped our momentum. That was just the most frustrating series ever. It would have been a lot closer had that not happened. Im not saying that we would have won [the series], but we would have definitely taken Game 1 and put up more of a fight. Against Liquid, even though we went to Game 5, I felt like we were always in control.Showtime: I wasnt worried about the Liquid series, to be honest. Even though the games were close, I knew the guys were confident and were going to close it out. Im usually pretty blunt about most things, and I would say that this season we have been playing pretty average up until last weekend. That was when we got over the hump and now I would say we are playing the best Halo we ever have. You mentioned that you guys were really starting to click, which was perfect timing going into Week 4. You had OpTic Gaming Day 1, and beat them 3-1, and then you played the best team in the world, Counter Logic Gaming on Day 2. Had Week 3 been somewhat of a wakeup call for you?Cratos: Three weeks ago, all the other pro teams got together and agreed not to scrim against us anymore to not give us practice. We basically only practiced against the top amateur teams every night.bubu dubu: And EG scrimmed us one night.Cratos: Thats right. So we didnt get very good practice for a little while there and that was an extremely stressful time for us. On top of us underperforming, we had no way of practicing and that was tough for us. We were playing pretty poorly and mentally knew that this was not going to work out if there was no way for us to practice.Showtime: This past week before we played OpTic and CLG, other teams began to scrim us again and that was definitely our best week of practice and that showed during our Pro League matches. It definitely showed. Day 1, you saw Team EnVyUs push CLG to Game 5. What was going through your minds when you saw that?Cratos: I was pretty surprised. I knew nV [EnVyUs] was good, and they played really well. It didnt really change the way I viewed CLG though, I just think nV should have won that series.Did seeing nV and CLG go to Game 5 give you a boost of confidence?Cratos: Not me personally, no. It happens in best-of-fives.bubu dubu: I never really viewed CLG as unbeatable. Throughout my whole H5 career Ive played them to pretty close series, so I was really happy to get the win. I didnt see them as unbeatable like a lot of other players do.Showtime: I was really impressed with nV in that series; I think they definitely should have won it. But, like the guys said, the thing I like about this team is that we dont think anyone is untouchable and we honestly think that we are the best team and we proved that this weekend. That really helps our morale.Lets look at that CLG series a little more carefully. You start off by taking Game 1, Eden Strongholds, by a landslide: 100-32. Thats a big way to start things off.Cratos: We were confident on that map, so closing out Game 1 was hype. We felt great heading into the rest of the series.Youre going blow for blow here with the first place team in North America, the reigning Halo World Champions. They havent lost a series since the X Games last year. They havent even lost a scrim since then, much less a competitive series. After you take Game 1, they respond with a statement win of their own on The Rig Slayer. Did your confidence ever falter?bubu dubu: I would say we brushed off the loss pretty well. We were actually down really big in that game and clawed our way back into it a little bit, so we just moved on after that like nothing happened.Cratos: Before the game was even over, we knew we needed to move on. We knew that The Rig Slayer was their best map and they were playing it really well that night; there wasnt much we could really do.You won Game 3 and found yourselves one game away from taking down CLG. The Rig Strongholds was the next map, and we have seen CLG struggle on that game type this season.Cratos: The veto phase worked out so that we ended out avoiding each others strongest game types for games three through five. They didnt play us on our best at the end, and we didnt play them on theirs.Showtime: Before each series we scout the teams pretty well and it turned out that neither of us wanted to veto that game type out.Game 4 was just as bad of a landslide as Game 1, and you won 100-32. Was there ever a moment when you looked at yourselves and said, Guys, we just took down CLG. It wasnt just a scrim, this one mattered?Cratos: Toward the end I got really excited. We were getting destroyed at the beginning of that game.bubu dubu: Yeah, we were down 25-0.Cratos: Yeah. It all started with Shooter when he turned on Lethul pretty badly. Shooter is a pretty calm guy and as soon as he did that he went nuts, which fired us up. We all stepped it up after that and went ballistic.Showtime: As soon as the series was over we went nuts and enjoyed the moment.Cratos: I could even hear Hukes family in the background going nuts!So youre now 5-3 in the Pro League and within striking distance of the top. EnVyUs showed the world that CLG is human, but you showed the world that they bleed. Not many other teams can say that. What does the rest of the season look like?Cratos: Well, we knew that most teams were likely going to lose to CLG twice so if we lost to them it would not be as big of a deal, but if we could beat them? That would be nuts. We have our important matches now: nV, Renegades and EG. We need to be able to beat them and not stumble against the bottom half teams for our shot at the summer finals. You play Team Liquid again, and they just got their first win of the season. Are you going to be thinking about how they took you to Game 5 at all?Showtime: We definitely dont want to overlook any team. This week we are preparing and not just leaning back. This week is huge for us because if we go 2-0 we basically lock up top-four for the season and get to the Summer Finals.Cratos: Beating CLG was nice, but we are taking our practice to another level now. We are all flying out to Michigan this week thanks to our incredible organization to bootcamp side-by-side and play the Pro League matches together. Is there anything else you guys want to share? Any thanks you want to give?bubu dubu: I just wanted to say that although we beat CLG we are going to stay humble and hungry. We arent going to let up and we arent going to let this get to our heads. We want this win more than anything. Thats all that matters to us.Cratos: I completely agree. Beating CLG was great, but our goal is to win the Summer Finals. Until then we are not going to be happy.Showtime: Like Cratos said earlier, the matches we have coming up are a really big deal. Beating CLG was great but the next few matches determine everything for us this season. They weigh so much more. Huge shoutout to Chris, the owner of Enigma6! He treats us so well. Anything we need, he takes care of. Hes setting up this bootcamp for us this weekend and is the best.bubu dubu: They go above and beyond for everything.Cratos. I wanted to shout them out too, they make all of this possible. They make Halo our full-time job and treat us like professional athletes, not just Halo players.bubu dubu: And a big shoutout to my mom, dad, and siblings! They are super supportive! They watch all my stuff and are my biggest fans! I couldnt do this without them. MLB Jerseys Outlet . -- Sergey Tolchinksy scored his second goal of the game 3:56 into overtime as the Sault Ste. WASHINGTON -- T.J. Rivera will not forget his first major league home run anytime soon. The rookie second baseman belted an 0-2 pitch off Mark Melancon into the left-field seats with one out in the 10th inning to lift the New York Mets to a 4-3 victory over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night. All I could do was go up there and try to have a good at-bat, Rivera said. He left something up and luckily I was able to put the barrel on it. That was pretty much my whole concept, my whole idea for that at-bat was really just compete because Id never faced him before. The Mets pulled within nine games of Washington in the NL East and remained a half-game ahead of St. Louis in the NL wild-card race. New York has won eight of its last 10 and is 17-6 since Aug. 20, gaining 3 1/2 games on Washington in that stretch.Jeurys Familia (3-3) earned the victory despite surrendering two runs in the ninth to blow his fourth save of the season. Left-hander Jerry Blevins struck out Daniel Murphy for the final out to earn his first save since 2012.I was trying to put it into play, said Murphy, who earlier had two hits and has hit safely against the Mets in 18 consecutive games this season. I was unsuccessful.Rivera, who won the Pacific Coast League batting title this season and entered the night with 41 career at-bats in the majors, probably would not have played if Wilmer Flores wasnt dealing with a stiff neck. Manager Terry Collins gave Rivera the start, and the move paid off even before the home run.Rivera had an RBI single in the third and a sacrifice fly in the fifth, then took Melancon (2-2) deep after the Nationals rallied to force extra innings.Somebody has to surprise you, Collins said. Somebody you dont expect has to come through, and tonight it was T.J.Washington mustered only four hits in the first eight innings, but quickly got to Familia in the ninth. Murphy led off with an infield single, and third baseman Jose Reyes threw Bryce Harpers grounder into the seats. Anthony Rendon and Wilson Ramos then delivered consecutive singles to tie it.Familia then got Ryan Zimmerman to line out and pinch-hitter Clint Robinson to hit a soft liner to second that fooled pinch-runner Wilmer Difo, who was doubled off first. We have arguably the best closer in the game and they hit four groundballs and three of them didnt get out of the infield and the games tied, Collins said. He was frustrateed by it and we certainly understand it, but we wouldnt be sitting where we are without him. Cheap MLB Jerseys Free Shipping. After Jayson Werths two-out single off Fernando Salas in the 10th brought the winning run to the plate, Collins called on Blevins. He got two strikes on Murphy, who then worked a full count before missing a curveball to end it.Hes so good and an MVP candidate for a reason, Blevins said. You try to take advantage of some aggressiveness and get him to swing at your pitch.Noah Syndergaard struck out 10 over seven innings for the Mets, yielding just one run and four hits. When you run probably your best pitcher out, you have to win that game, Collins said. You have to win this game tonight with Noah on the mound. He pitched great.Nationals starter A.J. Cole allowed three runs and nine hits in five innings.SYNDERGAARDS MILESTONESyndergaards 10-strikeout outing of the season gave him 205 for the season. The 24-year-old is the fifth Met to record 200 strikeouts at that age or younger, joining Tom Seaver (1968 and 1969), Jon Matlack (1973), Dwight Gooden (1984-86) and Sid Fernandez (1986).ZEROES FOR RZEPCZYNSKIWashington reliever Marc Rzepczynski retired the lone Met he faced and has not allowed an earned run in nine appearances since being acquired from Oakland on Aug. 25. Rzepczynski has yielded four hits and three walks in 8 1/3 innings since joining the Nationals.TRAINERS ROOMMets: INF Flores (stiff neck) remained out of the lineup and was going to try to hit in the batting cage before the game. Flores has not played since Saturday. ... OF Justin Ruggiano, on the DL since Aug. 27, underwent left shoulder surgery. He hit .350 with two homers in 20 at-bats this season.Nationals: 1B Zimmerman, who did not start the last two times Syndergaard pitched against Washington, was in the lineup against the right-hander. Zimmerman entered the night 1 for 8 lifetime against Syndergaard and went 1 for 3 against him.UP NEXTMets: RHP Robert Gsellman (2-1, 3.92) faces Washington for the second time this month. HOCKENHEIM, Germany -- Nico Rosberg believes his overtaking move on Max Verstappen at the German Grand Prix was a racing incident and not worthy of the five-second penalty it incurred. Nike Air Max Shoes 2017 China .Rosberg passed Verstappen for second place on lap 30 after diving up the inside of the Red Bull driver at Turn 6. The Mercedes driver went deep into the corner and pushed Verstappen wide at the exit, which the stewards deemed worthy of a penalty for forcing another car off the track.Rosberg was given a five-second time penalty, which he served at his final pit stop and dropped him behind the two Red Bulls. It was racing, you know? he said. I was really ecstatic at the time and that was awesome that I came from miles behind and was very happy to get the position because it meant second place at least. [It was] damage limitation of sorts, and I was surprised to get a penalty for it.Verstappen moved across on Rosberg under braking and the Mercedes driver said that contributed to him going so deep beyond the apex. For sure it made it more difficult, yes, he said. That was discussed on Friday [at the drivers briefing] and we were supposed to try to avoid that.Although the penalty dropped Rosberg out of contention for the podium, his race had initially taken a turn for the worse when he made a poor getaway from pole position and dropped to fourth.Asked what went wrong, Rosberg said: There was too much engagement on the clutch and that is a bad start. It got me by surprise and I didnt expect that at all, especially after the formation lap when it felt good.Rosberg also received two penalty points on his superlicence for the Verstappen incident, bringing his total to four for the 12 month period. Wholesale Air Max Shoes China . I cant pinpoint a date, but I do remember a player from my youth. Brian Downing was with the Chicago White Sox at a time when I listened to every game I possibly could on the radio. That particular season the late great Harry Caray was calling the White Sox games. Nike Air max Shoes China . Newcastle dominated in the early stages but City weathered the storm and then raised its game in extra time. Negredo broke the deadlock from close range after a simple move in the 99th minute before Dzeko took the ball round goalkeeper Tim Krul to seal the victory in the 105th. http://www.cheapairmaxchina.us/ . Fernandez, coached in Toronto by former two-time Olympic silver medallist Brian Orser, scored 267.11 points and is the first champion to successfully defend since Russias Evgeny Plushenko in 2005 and 2006. STILLWATER, Okla. -- Texas Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury never really considered going for a 2-point conversion and the victory, feeling confident his team could prevail in overtime. The game never got that far.Clayton Hatfield missed the extra point after Quinton Whites 1-yard scoring run with 1:39 left, and No. 17 Oklahoma State escaped with a 45-44 victory over Texas Tech on Saturday. We had the momentum, Kingsbury said. I liked what we were doing offensively, I liked what we were doing defensively, so I felt great about going to overtime. Our team handled it the last time very well, so that was the plan.Texas Tech (4-6, 2-5 Big 12) appeared to have overcome a 10-point fourth quarter deficit when White spun into the end zone on third-and-goal from the 1, but Hatfields kick sailed wide right, leaving the Red Raiders down by one.I thought they would go for two, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said. If you look at it from his point of view, 2-point conversions are about 33 percent effective. But it would not have surprised me.After Oklahoma State (8-2, 6-1, No. 13 CFP) recovered the onside kick attempt, the Cowboys marched quickly into the red zone, and resisted Techs attempts to let them score before running out the clock. It hurts, it definitely hurts, said Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the nations leading passer, who completed 34 of 51 passes for 344 yards and three touchdowns. We had a lot of chances to win, but they found a way to win, we didnt. Its kind of like the whole season. It hurts, but were going to go out there and fight. Weve got two games to get bowl eligible.Mahomes also rushed for two touchdowns, giving him 12 and setting a new Texas Tech single-season record for a quarterback, surpassing the previous mark of 10 set by Rodney Allison in 1976.For Oklahoma State, Mason Rudolph threw for 395 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-28 passing, and also rushed for a touchdown, and Justice Hill had 126 yards and a touchdown on 18 rushes. James Washington registered six receptions for 158 yards, including an 82-yard TD with 6 seconds left in the third quarter that put the Cowboys ahead 45-35. Cheap Nike Air Max. TAKEAWAYTexas Tech: The Red Raiders can run the ball pretty well when they have to or are invited to, and Demarcus Felton needs to get the ball more. Even though he has the leading rusher this season, Felton got a total of one carry over the previous three games, but he came up with 77 yards on 10 rushes before leaving in the third quarter with an ankle injury, the severity of which was unknown. If hes healthy, hes proven he deserves a bigger role in the offense. He did a good job, Kingsbury said. When youre playing those light boxes, he does a good job finding space.Oklahoma State: The Cowboys kept their hopes of a Big 12 championship alive. They need to win next week against TCU to set up a showdown with No. 9 Oklahoma on Dec. 3 for the conference title. Oklahoma State won for the fourth time this season with a margin of seven points or less.PLAY OF THE GAMETexas Tech had just pulled to 38-35 on Mahomes 7-yard touchdown run with 24 seconds left in the third quarter when Rudolph hurled up a deep pass to Washington on the first play of the next possession. Washington caught the ball at the 50 and raced the rest of the way into the end zone for an 82-yard touchdown, restoring a 10-point lead with 6 seconds left in the third.LAST WORDNo fear, no frustration and no fatigue is what we talk about, Gundy said of his teams ability to win close games. I think there is some truth to them believing in themselves makes a big difference. When you start to win over a period of years, you feel like youre going to win. Your mind is much more powerful than the physical part of your body and we believe in that, so they just play hard and Im proud of them.UP NEXTTexas Tech will next face Iowa State on the road.Oklahoma State continues its quest for a Big 12 title by traveling to Fort Worth to take on TCU.
